Tables are booked for two hours for dinner and one hour and a half for lunch, which begins from the time you have reserved your table.

Do you have a cancellation policy?
Cake orders which have been prepaid for will not be refunded if cancelled no less than 24 hours prior. Unlimited Soft Drinks will be refunded if you choose to cancel your booking anytime. We ask that any reduction of guest numbers or cancellation to your reservation be made no less than 24 hours prior to your reservation. For no shows or late cancellations, you will be subject to a fee of $25 per person that will be applied to the credit card on file. You will be charged for the confirmed amount of guests or actual amount of guests on the dining date, whichever is greater. A credit card and contactless payment surcharge of 1.8% will apply.

Does the booking include free parking?
SkyCity does not offer free parking when you dine. We offer discounted parking rates at $8 for the first hour and $4 for every hour after, if you spend a minimum of $40 at any of the outlets. You will be required to get your parking ticket validated from the restaurant reception in order to get the discounted rates. You can find out more about our parking options here.

What are your casual parking rates?
The casual rate for parking is $8 for 0-30 minutes, $16 for the first hour and $8 every hour after. The maximum parking charge per day (up to 24 hours) is $48.

Do you have a credit card surcharge?
Yes, a credit card, contactless and online payment surcharge of 1.8% will apply.
The surcharge is set at a level which assist us to recover some of the merchant fee costs charged to us by banks and credit card companies. Payments using cash or debit cards (contactless is chargeable) are not affected. If you have any questions about the surcharge, please talk directly with the Duty Manager. We appreciate your understanding.

Can we bring a cake with us?
Unfortunately not, but we'd be delighted to make one for you. Please visit https://skycityauckland.co.nz/restaurants/sucre-by-skycity/ at least 48 hours in advance of your booking and we’ll create something delicious within your budget. Only cakes purchased from us can be served in our restaurants. Should you wish to bring in your own cake we would be more than happy to accommodate to help with the celebration ceremony however unfortunately you cannot consume this in the restaurant.

Is your meat Halal?
While most of our meat suppliers are Halal certified, all meat preparation is completed in a SkyCity central kitchen so we cannot guarantee that meat is Halal.

If a group has a person celebrating a birthday, does the birthday person eat for free?
No, unfortunately not.

Does Fortuna cater to dietaries?
Fortuna Restaurant will take all reasonable efforts to accommodate guests' dietary requirements, however we cannot guarantee that any menu item will be allergen free due to potential cross contamination in our kitchens or from our suppliers. If you have any dietary requirements or allergies, please inform one of our team members prior to going to the buffet. Please do not be offended if our team determines we’re unable to serve you safely.
